Description
An unusual find for Orkney: this species is rarely preserved well enough to warrant collection. This specimen is not the largest example, measuring 140mm in length, but displays the classic dipnoan shape with some of the rounded scale shape still preserved.
Specimen has had no preparation or restoration.
