Description
An exceptionally good example of this iconic species from Orkney. Preserved in 3d naturally, and as with the best specimens, it has a natural ‘halo’ around the specimen.
Laterally preserved with great skull plates and fins, with the very tip of the tail missing. This specimen is ‘as found’ with only a simple clean to remove dirt.
All in all, a cracking good fossil
