Description
A very nice little example of the only dipnoan lungfish from the Eday flagstones of Orkney. This specimen is complete with occipital plate, which are more usually disarticulated. Very fine scales along the body, and complete set of tail fins.
This species is becoming ever more difficult to find, with limited sites in Orkney.
