Pterichthyodes milleri with Osteolepis macrolepidotus

Out of stock

A very unusual but pleasing association, with the tail of the Pterichthyodes laying across the Osteolepis.

Many hours of preparatory work have revealed the Pterichthyodes plates in 3d, and an excellent tail, not always seen beyond being a smudge on the matrix.

The Osteolepis is also well defined, with good skull plates scales and fins.

Both specimens sit very well on a triangular matrix. This would be a very unusual addition to the collection.

Pterichthyodes measures 90 mm in length.

Osteolepis measures 170mm in length.

This piece is quite heavy, so postage rates on application.
